A Busy Few Weeks on the Farm
Share
Good morning, friends.
It’s been a whirlwind here on the farm over the last few weeks, which explains why I’ve been a little MIA from our social pages. When you’re juggling harvest, weather, and flowers… time seems to disappear!
We’ve been in full harvest mode on the grain side of the farm, working around the weather and squeezing in every moment we can to get hay baled before the next bit of rain rolls through. At the same time, I’ve been knee-deep in planting in the cutting patch — one of my favourite parts of this season. There’s something so grounding about planning and planting new life while the rest of the farm is in full production.
Among all the busyness, I’ve also had the privilege of putting together some beautiful florist orders and private arrangements. Each one reminds me how grateful I am for the people who choose to bring a little piece of our farm into their homes and celebrations.
With harvest almost wrapped up, I’m hoping to be a bit more consistent with sharing updates, blooms, and behind-the-scenes moments again. Thank you for sticking with us during the busy stretches — they’re all part of the rhythm of life here at Yargullen.
We’re also so relieved to feel the weather cooling off. It finally feels like proper spring again, with beautiful rain to freshen everything up.
Wishing you all a lovely week.
