Dahlias are perennial plants that flower from summer through to autumn. Most cultivars, except for dwarf varieties, are tall growing reaching heights between 1m-1.5m. Because of this, they will require staking and protection from strong winds. Dahlias grow best in a full sun position, in moist, well-draining soil.

Dahlia tubers will be shipped in October once the eyes are clearly visible.
